Denver-based beauty tech company Pomp has launched Pomp MD, a retail platform aimed at medical spas and multi-provider practices as it expands further into medical aesthetics.
The new platform is designed to support skincare retail through a branded digital storefront that ties together provider recommendations, patient purchases, replenishment programs, and rewards. Pomp MD also manages fulfillment, shipping, and customer support.
Pomp began by serving mostly independent estheticians and other skincare professionals before moving into the aesthetics market, according to the company.
Pomp MD currently gives practices access to more than 55 clinical skincare and wellness brands, the company says, as well as 160+ hours of brand education.
The platform is also intended to ease retail-related operational work by integrating with medspas’ existing booking, electronic medical records, and business management systems. For multi-provider practices, it includes reporting tools that the company says are meant to track retail performance across providers and locations.
Pomp’s medical-spa expansion started with 10 Denver-area practices ahead of a broader U.S. rollout. The pilot may offer an early test of whether digital retail platforms can help medspa practices turn skincare recommendations into a recurring revenue stream without adding logistical burdens.
