Best Medical Aesthetics Conferences for Practices (2026): 11 Compared
The best medical aesthetics conferences for practices compared: Medical Spa Show, SCALE, The Aesthetic Show, AMWC Americas and more, with dates and fees.

For practice owners, managers and providers. Updated October 2, 2026 · Prepared by Prospyr. Prospyr makes practice software, not conferences, and none of the events below is a Prospyr product. Prospyr is an AmSpa Platinum partner. Each summary reflects what the organizer publishes on its own website, checked October 2026. Dates, venues and registration fees change, so confirm them on the event site before you book travel.
Which medical aesthetics conference should a practice attend?
The right medical aesthetics conference depends on who you send and what you need to bring back. Owners and managers looking for business, legal and operations answers get the most from a med spa-specific show such as the Medical Spa Show. Injectors and laser providers who need CME and hands-on technique do better at a clinical meeting like Music City SCALE, AMWC Americas or Masters of Aesthetics. Surgeons and dermatologists have their own society meetings. Most practices pick one business event and one clinical event a year.

How we chose this list
We picked US conferences that name aesthetic practices or aesthetic providers as their audience, then checked four things a practice manager can confirm before booking:
- Audience fit. Is the event built for med spa owners and teams, for injectors, or for one surgical or medical specialty?
- Published details. Are dates, venue and fees on the official site?
- Who can attend. Some meetings welcome office staff and managers. Others are clearly aimed at physicians.
- What you bring home. CME or CE credit, business sessions, hands-on workshops, or an exhibit hall for comparing products and devices.
We left out events we could not verify on an official site, and vendor-run user conferences. The order is our editorial view, not a ranking of quality.
1. Medical Spa Show (AmSpa)
The Medical Spa Show is the annual event of the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa). The 2027 show runs April 15-18 at Wynn Las Vegas and marks its tenth year. Prospyr is an AmSpa Platinum partner.
What stands out:
- Built for the business you run. AmSpa says the show is for med spa owners, providers, medical directors, practice leaders and team members, with an agenda split across clinical, legal, business and operations topics.
- Member pricing. AmSpa members pay less than non-members. Rates change by registration date, so see the site for current rates.
- Team discounts. Additional attendees get $50 off each ticket, and groups of four or more get $75 off each.
- Scale. AmSpa reports more than 9,600 attendees since 2018, more than 5,200 practices represented and more than 750 exhibiting brands.
Right for: owners and managers who want answers on compliance, staffing and growth, and practices that want to send several team members. Ask: which sessions offer CE credit, and whether workshops cost extra.
2. Music City SCALE
Music City SCALE was founded in 2005 by dermatologists Brian S. Biesman, MD, and Michael H. Gold, MD. The 2027 symposium runs May 19-23 at the Grand Hyatt Nashville. SCALE reports more than 1,500 participants at its 2025 meeting and lists 95+ faculty.
What stands out:
- A rate for office staff. SCALE publishes separate fees by role. Its standard rates (from May 19, 2027) are $1,249 for physicians; $1,149 for RNs, NPs, PAs and aestheticians; and $949 for office staff (manager or admin). Registering earlier costs less; see the site for current rates.
- Clear rules. SCALE does not sell single-day passes or guest passes. Cancellations received in writing by April 19, 2027 are refunded less a $150 fee.
- Workshops. Anatomy and ultrasound workshops are available for an added fee to registered attendees.
Right for: practices that want clinical education for providers and want to bring a manager along at a lower rate. Ask: which workshops will run in 2027 and their fees.
3. The Aesthetic Show
The Aesthetic Show is run by Informa, which also runs AMWC Americas and Vegas Cosmetic Surgery. Its 20th anniversary meeting is July 8-11, 2027 at Wynn Las Vegas. The site lists CME accreditation, an Aesthetic Practice Acceleration Lab, an Aesthetics New Joiners program, an Integrative Aesthetics Center and a separate abstract track for business and practice management.
Right for: practices that want clinical and business content at one large show, with a summer date that does not clash with the spring meetings. Ask: registration fees by role, group rates for three or more (the site lists group registration), and which sessions carry CME.
4. AMWC Americas
AMWC Americas is the American edition of AMWC Monaco, also run by Informa. The 2027 meeting is February 13-15 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. Tracks run from facial injectables and regenerative aesthetics to business and practice management, reviewed by a scientific advisory board. The organizer reports 150+ faculty and attendees from 60+ countries.
Right for: providers who want an international view of techniques and products early in the year. Ask: current registration fees by role, and how much of the program is business content.

Book a Demo5. The MAC (Multispecialty Aesthetic Conference)
The MAC returns to the Bellagio in Las Vegas on April 29-May 2, 2027. Meeting director S. Randolph Waldman, MD, says the 2027 meeting is a collaboration with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). The organizer lists 3.5 days, three tracks, 300+ sessions and 150+ speakers, with keynotes, live demonstrations and a smaller exhibit hall.
Right for: practices with a surgeon or dermatologist who want cross-specialty education. Ask: registration fees, which tracks suit nurse injectors, and how many sessions cover practice business.
6. Vegas Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Dermatology (VCS)
Vegas Cosmetic Surgery is an Informa meeting for plastic, facial plastic and oculoplastic surgeons, dermatologists and injectors. It lists live surgery demonstrations, cadaver-based anatomy training and small-group discussions, all included in registration. The site states that in 2027 VCS and MedSpa Pro will join forces, at the same venue and on the same weekend as LongevityFest by A4M. Dates had not been posted when we checked.
Right for: surgical practices that want live surgery and anatomy labs. Ask: the 2027 dates and venue, and which parts of the MedSpa Pro program suit non-surgical staff.
7. The Aesthetic MEET (The Aesthetic Society)
The Aesthetic MEET is the annual meeting of The Aesthetic Society and The Aesthetic Foundation. The 2027 meeting runs April 15-18 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with exhibits April 16-18. The society calls it a CME conference for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons. It lists cadaver labs, injectable and energy-based device training, and business-of-practice sessions.
Right for: plastic surgery practices. Ask: registration options for nurses, injectors and practice managers. Note that it overlaps with the Medical Spa Show and ASLMS in 2027.
8. ASDS Annual Meeting
The ASDS Annual Meeting is run by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. The 2026 meeting is November 5-8 in San Diego. ASDS publishes a dedicated meeting site with the agenda, CME information and filters by track and speaker.
Right for: dermatology practices with a cosmetic service line. Ask: registration categories for non-physician staff and which sessions focus on cosmetic procedures.
9. ASLMS Annual Conference
The ASLMS Annual Conference is run by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. The 2027 conference is April 15-18 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, with a pre-conference day on April 14 and exhibits April 15-17. ASLMS says the meeting is for people in clinical, research, educational or manufacturing roles in laser and energy-based medicine.
Right for: practices where lasers and devices drive a large share of revenue. Ask: registration fees for nurses and laser technicians, and which sessions cover safety. Check your state's rules for who may operate each device.
10. Masters of Aesthetics
Masters of Aesthetics is a symposium on lasers, energy-based devices, toxins, fillers and other aesthetic treatments, with lectures and live demonstrations. Its organizers say it was the first meeting to focus on treatment settings and clinical endpoints. The 2027 meeting is August 27-29 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. Registration fees are refundable less a $50 administrative fee until May 21, 2027.
Right for: providers who want practical device settings they can use the following week. Ask: the current fee schedule and whether CME applies to nurse attendees.
11. AAAM Congress
The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) holds its 22nd congress November 13-15, 2026 in Miami. It lists the congress at $845 for members and $975 for non-members. AAAM also sells packages that combine the congress with its Level 1 and Level 2 courses or its board examination.
Right for: physicians already in AAAM's training path. Ask: whether nurse injectors and practice staff can attend the congress alone.
Questions to ask before you register
- Who is the program built for? Look at the agenda by track. A surgeon-led meeting can leave a nurse injector or manager with little to attend.
- What does the pass include? Ask whether workshops, cadaver labs and evening events cost extra.
- Is there a team or staff rate? Some events publish office staff and group discounts. Ask if they are not listed.
- What credit will we earn? Confirm CME or CE hours for each role and whether they meet your state's renewal rules.
- What is the cancellation policy? Get the deadline and fee in writing before you book flights.
- How will we judge the trip? Decide before you go which treatment, product or process you are evaluating, and who will report back to the team.
Where Prospyr fits
A conference often ends with a new treatment, device or product line. Before you commit, check how it will show up in your practice system: service setup, provider schedules, product stock and reporting. Prospyr's inventory management and analytics help you see whether a new line pays for itself, and our guide to training aesthetic teams covers bringing new workflows home. You can also book a practice demo.
Frequently asked questions
What is the biggest conference for med spa owners?
The Medical Spa Show is the conference built most directly for med spa owners and teams. AmSpa reports more than 9,600 attendees since 2018 and more than 5,200 practices represented. The Aesthetic Show and AMWC Americas are also large, with a heavier clinical focus.
Which aesthetics conferences offer CME?
Most of the clinical meetings on this list do, including Music City SCALE, The Aesthetic Show, AMWC Americas, VCS, The Aesthetic MEET and Masters of Aesthetics. Credit types differ by role, so confirm hours for nurses and other providers before you register.
Can practice managers and front desk staff attend?
Yes, at many of them. Music City SCALE publishes an office staff rate, and the Medical Spa Show says it is built for team members and offers team discounts. Society meetings for surgeons and dermatologists are less suited to non-clinical staff.
When should we register?
Register as early as your plans allow, because most events raise fees on set dates as the meeting gets closer. Check each event's site for the current rate and the date of the next increase before you book travel.
