For med spa owners, medical directors and injectors. Updated October 22, 2026 · Prepared by Prospyr. Prospyr makes practice software for med spas, plastic surgery and wellness practices, not dermal fillers, and none of the companies below is a Prospyr product or partner. This is a reference guide to dermal filler brands, not a ranking. Inclusion comes from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) premarket approval (PMA) database, and each company summary reflects what the company publishes on its own website, checked October 2026. Every indication below is quoted or closely paraphrased from the FDA approval record, with a link beside it. This article is not medical advice and makes no claim about the safety, effectiveness or duration of any product. Confirm indications, availability and account terms with each company and the current Instructions for Use before you order.

Which dermal filler brands are FDA-approved?

Dermal fillers sold in the US are medical devices, and the ones on this list reached the market through FDA premarket approval (PMA), the agency's most demanding device pathway. As of October 2026, the FDA's PMA database lists approved and currently marketed dermal filler brands from eight companies: Allergan Aesthetics (JUVÉDERM and SKINVIVE), Croma-Pharma with Obagi Medical (saypha), Evolus (Evolysse), Galderma (Restylane and Sculptra), Merz Aesthetics (Belotero and RADIESSE), Prollenium (Revanesse), Teoxane with Revance (RHA Collection) and Tiger Aesthetics Medical (Bellafill). Each product is approved for specific areas and age groups, and those approvals differ product by product, even inside one brand family. The FDA keeps an overview at FDA-approved dermal fillers and notes that not every filler in its database is still marketed.

Types of dermal fillers by material

The FDA groups fillers by what they are made of. Four materials appear among the brands on this list:

  • Hyaluronic acid (HA). A sugar found naturally in the body, made into a gel. JUVÉDERM, SKINVIVE, saypha, Evolysse, Restylane, Belotero, Revanesse and RHA are all HA fillers. The FDA notes that some fillers are naturally absorbed over time.
  • Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). Microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. RADIESSE is the CaHA filler on this list.
  • Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). A biodegradable synthetic material. Sculptra is the PLLA product on this list.
  • Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) beads in collagen. Bellafill is the PMMA product. The FDA states it "has approved only one product made from a material that remains in the body and is not absorbed," and that non-absorbable (permanent) fillers "are approved for only nasolabial folds and cheek acne scars."

Many products come in versions with a local anesthetic (lidocaine, or mepivacaine for some RHA products), and the anesthetic version is often a separate approval.

How we chose this list

This guide has one inclusion rule: the product must be a dermal filler with FDA premarket approval under product code LMH (facial fillers) or PKY (hand fillers) that a company currently markets in the US, checked October 2026. We then loaded each company's own website to confirm who sells the product, the rewards program and how practices open an account.

  • FDA approval first. Fillers approved only in other countries, or still under FDA review, are not included. Neither are injectables sold as "skin boosters" without a US PMA.
  • Label facts only. Approved areas and ages come from the FDA approval order, linked beside each claim. We do not discuss injection technique, volumes or off-label uses.
  • No head-to-head claims. We do not compare longevity, results, feel or side-effect rates. Where a company publishes a duration claim, it is the company's claim, not ours, and we leave it out.
  • Discontinued products left out. The FDA notes that not every approved filler is still marketed. Older approvals such as Hylaform, Evolence and Zyderm are not covered.

Companies are listed alphabetically. The order is not a ranking or a measure of results.

1Allergan Aesthetics (JUVÉDERM and SKINVIVE)#

JUVÉDERM is marketed by Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, which also sells BOTOX Cosmetic, KYBELLA, CoolSculpting and SkinMedica. The US site lists six JUVÉDERM products and says the collection "has the most FDA approvals for treatment of the face." The FDA record lists these approvals:

  • JUVÉDERM Voluma XC: cheek augmentation to correct age-related volume deficit in the midface (FDA P110033), augmentation of the chin region (FDA P110033/S047) and moderate to severe temple hollowing (FDA P110033/S070), in adults over 21.
  • JUVÉDERM Volux XC: improvement of jawline definition in adults over 21 with moderate to severe loss of jawline definition (FDA P110033/S065).
  • JUVÉDERM Vollure XC: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults over 21 (FDA P110033/S020).
  • JUVÉDERM Volbella XC: lip augmentation and correction of perioral rhytids (FDA P110033/S018), plus improvement of infraorbital hollowing (FDA P110033/S053), in adults over 21.
  • JUVÉDERM Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (FDA P050047/S005); Ultra XC is also approved for lip augmentation in adults over 21 (FDA P050047/S044).
  • SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM: improvement of facial skin smoothness of the cheeks (FDA P110033/S059). A June 2026 approval adds reducing neck lines for improvement of neck appearance, in adults over 21 (FDA P110033/S099). The SKINVIVE site still described the cheek indication only when we checked.

What stands out:

  • Breadth of approvals. JUVÉDERM products together cover more approved facial areas than any other brand family on this list, including Volux XC, the only HA filler on this list approved for the jawline.
  • Rewards. Patients earn and redeem through Allē, which also covers BOTOX Cosmetic and SkinMedica. See our guide to manufacturer loyalty programs.
  • One account for toxin and filler. Practices that already order BOTOX Cosmetic deal with the same company.

Right for: practices that want one company for toxin, filler and skincare, and patients who ask for JUVÉDERM by name. Ask: which products your account can order, how Allē points flow back to the practice, and what volume tiers apply.

2Croma-Pharma and Obagi Medical (saypha)#

The saypha fillers are developed by Croma-Pharma GmbH of Leobendorf, Austria, the FDA applicant, and marketed in the US by Obagi Medical, a Waldencast company. Obagi's page calls MagIQ an "FDA-approved injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler" and describes ChIQ as a second, separate product.

  • saypha MagIQ: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults over 21, approved September 2025 (FDA P240008).
  • saypha ChIQ: cheek augmentation and restoring midface volume deficits in patients over 21, approved June 2026 (FDA P250021).

What stands out:

  • Newest family. These are the most recent HA approvals from a company new to US fillers.
  • Sales route. Obagi's page says MagIQ "cannot be purchased online" and directs healthcare professionals to an Obagi Sales Consultant or Inside Sales Consultant at 1-800-636-7546.
  • Real-world program. Obagi announced an evaluation program for MagIQ, called ALOHA, in January 2026, with named multi-location practice groups taking part.

Right for: practices that already carry Obagi skincare and want to add a newer filler brand. Ask: when ChIQ ships to your area, what training comes with the account, and whether Waldencast's announced sale of Obagi Medical's skincare business changes your account contact.

3Evolus (Evolysse)#

Evolus, based in Newport Beach, California, describes itself as a performance beauty company focused on cash-pay aesthetics and sells Jeuveau alongside its Evolysse hyaluronic acid fillers. The FDA record lists the applicant as Symatese, the manufacturer.

  • Evolysse Form and Evolysse Smooth: dermal and subdermal injection to correct moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults 22 years or older, approved February 2025 (FDA P240022).

What stands out:

  • Toxin and filler from one aesthetics-only company. Evolus sells only to cash-pay aesthetics.
  • Patient programs. The site lists Evolus Rewards for patients and Club Evolus, a separate patient membership.
  • Practice portal. Practices create an account and log in through Evolus's practice portal.

Right for: practices that already carry Jeuveau and want a filler from the same account. Ask: whether Evolysse purchases count toward the same loyalty tiers as Jeuveau, and which further Evolysse products are expected in the US.

4Galderma (Restylane and Sculptra)#

Restylane and Sculptra are marketed in the US by Galderma Laboratories, which also distributes Dysport. Restylane is the largest HA family on this list by product count, and Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid product that Galderma calls "the first and original FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA) facial injectable." The FDA record lists these approvals; the Restylane approvals are for patients over 21:

  • Restylane and Restylane-L: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, and lip augmentation (FDA P040024/S051, FDA P040024/S056).
  • Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine: moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, cheek augmentation and age-related midface contour deficiencies (FDA P040024/S073); volume deficit in the back of the hand (FDA P040024/S099); and chin augmentation in mild to moderate chin retrusion (FDA P040024/S142).
  • Restylane Silk: lip augmentation and correction of perioral rhytids (FDA P040024/S072).
  • Restylane Refyne and Defyne: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (FDA P140029); Defyne is also approved for chin augmentation in mild to moderate chin retrusion (FDA P140029/S027).
  • Restylane Kysse: lip augmentation and correction of upper perioral rhytids (FDA P140029/S021).
  • Restylane Contour: cheek augmentation and correction of midface contour deficiencies (FDA P140029/S032), and correction of temple hollowing, added March 2026 (FDA P140029/S054).
  • Restylane Eyelight: improvement of infraorbital hollowing (FDA P040024/S135).
  • Sculptra: in immune-competent people, correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles (FDA P030050/S002), and correction of fine lines and wrinkles in the cheek region (FDA P030050/S039).

What stands out:

  • HA plus a biostimulator. Galderma is one of two companies here (with Merz) selling both HA and a non-HA filler.
  • Rewards. Patients earn through ASPIRE Galderma Rewards on Restylane and Sculptra, and on Dysport (see our neurotoxin brands guide). Galderma lists a $20 welcome reward and $10 in savings per 100 points (as of October 2026).
  • Provider resources. The Restylane site has a healthcare professional section and links each product's Instructions for Use.

Right for: practices that also buy Dysport and want one rewards program across toxin and filler. Ask: how ASPIRE is funded at the practice level, and what training Galderma requires before you offer Sculptra.

5Merz Aesthetics (Belotero and RADIESSE)#

Belotero and RADIESSE are marketed by Merz Aesthetics (Merz North America), which also sells XEOMIN and Ultherapy. The Belotero site lists three US products, "available by prescription only." The FDA record lists:

  • Belotero Balance (+): moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (FDA P090016), and volume augmentation for the infraorbital hollow in adults over 21 (FDA P090016/S050).
  • Belotero Volume (+): volume deficit in the midface or midface contour deficiencies in adults 22 years or older, approved May 2026 (FDA P250020).
  • Belotero Intense (+): lip augmentation in adults over 21, approved July 2026 (FDA P250016).
  • RADIESSE: moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (FDA P050052); hand augmentation to correct volume loss in the dorsum of the hands (FDA P050052/S049); and, in a diluted preparation described in the approval, correction of décolleté wrinkles in patients 22 and older, approved March 2026 (FDA P050052/S162).
  • RADIESSE (+): moderate to severe loss of jawline contour in adults over 21 (FDA P050052/S129).

What stands out:

  • Two materials, one company. Belotero is HA; RADIESSE is calcium hydroxylapatite, which Merz describes as a regenerative biostimulator in its announcements.
  • New launches. Trade press reporting on Merz's September 2026 announcement gave anticipated availability of October 14, 2026 for Belotero Volume (+) and December 1, 2026 for Belotero Intense (+). Confirm dates with your rep.
  • One portal. Merz's site directs US practices to sign in through the Merz Aesthetics Portal.

Right for: practices that carry XEOMIN or Ultherapy, and practices that want an approved filler for the hands or décolleté. Ask: when the new Belotero products reach your account, and what training Merz provides for the diluted RADIESSE preparation.

6Prollenium (Revanesse)#

Revanesse is made by Prollenium Medical Technologies, which its site describes as a Canadian company developing medical devices since 2002. Products are produced in small batches, according to the site.

  • Revanesse Versa and Versa+ (with lidocaine): moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults 22 years of age or more (FDA P160042). The FDA database lists Versa as the trade name for the product first approved as Revanesse Ultra.
  • Revanesse Lips+: lip augmentation in patients 22 years of age or older (FDA P160042/S010).

What stands out:

  • Focused line. Three products for two approved uses, which keeps ordering and inventory simple.
  • Rewards. Revanesse Rewards gives patients savings on each syringe at participating practices, which display a gold "R" logo in its provider finder.

Right for: practices that want an independent HA brand for wrinkles, folds and lips. Ask: who your US account contact is, how Revanesse Rewards savings are funded, and what injector training is included.

Visit Prollenium (Revanesse)

7Teoxane (RHA Collection, distributed by Revance)#

The RHA Collection is made by Teoxane, founded in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2003. Teoxane's January 2026 news release describes Revance as "the independent U.S. distributor of the Teoxane RHA® Collection." RHA approvals, like Evolysse's, are worded for "dynamic" facial wrinkles and folds. The FDA record lists, all in adults 22 or older:

  • RHA 2, RHA 3 and RHA 4: moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (FDA P170002). RHA 3 is also approved for lip augmentation and lip fullness (FDA P170002/S030).
  • RHA Redensity: moderate to severe dynamic perioral rhytids (FDA P170002/S012).
  • RHA 4 and RHA Dynamic Volume: cheek augmentation and/or correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies (FDA P170002/S048). Teoxane says Dynamic Volume was formerly called RHA 4 Mepi.
  • RHA Redensity Eye and Eye Lido: moderate to severe tissue volume deficiencies in the infraorbital region, approved May 2026 (FDA P170002/S050).
  • RHA Kiss Volume: the FDA database lists this as a new commercial name for RHA 3 Mepi, approved July 2026 (FDA P170002/S055).

What stands out:

  • Mepivacaine versions. Several RHA products are approved in versions with mepivacaine rather than lidocaine (FDA P170002/S026), which matters for how you record what was used.
  • Ordering through Revance. Practices that buy DAXXIFY already deal with the US distributor.

Right for: practices that already work with Revance, and injectors who treat expressive areas such as the lips and perioral lines. Ask: how the Crown Laboratories and Revance combination affects your account, and which RHA names and anesthetic versions your account can order today.

Visit Teoxane (RHA Collection, distributed by Revance)

8Tiger Aesthetics Medical (Bellafill)#

Bellafill is a PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) microsphere filler in collagen, marketed by Tiger Aesthetics Medical, LLC, which the FDA database lists as the current applicant. Bellafill was first approved as ArteFill in 2006.

  • Bellafill: correction of nasolabial folds and of moderate to severe, atrophic, distensible facial acne scars on the cheek in patients over the age of 21 (FDA P020012/S009).

What stands out:

  • Not absorbed. The FDA states it has approved only one product made from a material that remains in the body and is not absorbed. Bellafill is that product.
  • Acne scar indication. It is the only filler on this list with an approved acne scar indication. Bellafill's site calls it the "only FDA-approved long-term solution for acne scars."
  • Skin test and collagen allergy. Its safety information lists a positive Bellafill Skin Test and known bovine collagen allergy among reasons not to treat, so the consult process differs from HA fillers.

Right for: practices treating acne scarring, and providers who want a non-absorbable option alongside HA. Ask: how the skin test is ordered, read and charted, and what training Tiger Aesthetics requires before your first patient.

Visit Tiger Aesthetics Medical (Bellafill)

Not on this list

  • Injectables approved only outside the US, or filed with the FDA but not yet approved, until an approval appears in the PMA database.
  • Older approved products no longer marketed, such as Hylaform, Evolence and Zyderm.
  • Anything sold as a "filler" without a PMA, including products marketed online for self-injection. The FDA advises practices and patients not to buy dermal fillers online, not to self-inject, and recommends against any injectable filler for body contouring; see its page on dermal fillers (soft tissue fillers).

We will add newly approved fillers at the next quarterly review.

Questions to ask any dermal filler company

  1. What exactly is on the current label? Get the latest Instructions for Use and keep your marketing claims within the approved areas and ages. An area approved for one product in a family is not approved for its siblings.
  2. Who in my practice may inject it? Supervision and delegation rules vary by state. Confirm with your medical director and state board.
  3. How are lots tracked and recalled? Ask how the company notifies practices, and record product, lot and syringe count for every patient.
  4. What training and complication support comes with the account? Ask what the company provides, and keep your own plan, including hyaluronidase for HA fillers. See our lists of complication management courses and aesthetic emergency kits.
  5. What do volume tiers and rebates require? Ask for tier thresholds, rebate timing and whether toxin and filler purchases count together.
  6. How does the rewards program pay the practice? Ask who funds each patient offer and when credits reach your account.
  7. How do we report an adverse event? Know the manufacturer's line and the FDA MedWatch route.

Where Prospyr fits

Carrying fillers from two or three companies means tracking which product, lot and syringe went into each patient. Prospyr's inventory management keeps syringe counts and lots in one place, the aesthetic EMR records product and area on a face chart so the next visit starts from the record, and packages let you sell filler as part of a treatment plan or membership. For toxins, see our neurotoxin brands guide; for delivery, see our list of cannulas and needles for fillers; or book a practice demo.

Frequently asked questions

How many dermal filler brands are FDA-approved?

As of October 2026, eight companies market FDA-approved dermal fillers in the US: Allergan Aesthetics (JUVÉDERM, SKINVIVE), Croma-Pharma with Obagi Medical (saypha), Evolus (Evolysse), Galderma (Restylane, Sculptra), Merz Aesthetics (Belotero, RADIESSE), Prollenium (Revanesse), Teoxane with Revance (RHA) and Tiger Aesthetics Medical (Bellafill). Each brand has several products with separate approvals.

What are the types of dermal fillers?

The approved fillers on this list use four materials: hyaluronic acid (most brands), calcium hydroxylapatite (RADIESSE), poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra) and PMMA microspheres in collagen (Bellafill). The FDA states that only one approved filler material remains in the body and is not absorbed, which is Bellafill's PMMA.

Are dermal fillers FDA-approved or FDA-cleared?

Approved. The fillers on this list reached the market through premarket approval (PMA), the FDA's pathway for high-risk (Class III) devices, not 510(k) clearance. Each approval covers specific areas and ages, and you can look up any product's approval order in the FDA's PMA database.

Which dermal fillers are approved for the lips?

On the FDA record as of October 2026: Restylane and Restylane-L, Restylane Silk, Restylane Kysse, JUVÉDERM Ultra XC, JUVÉDERM Volbella XC, Revanesse Lips+, RHA 3 and Belotero Intense (+). Check each label for the exact wording and age.

Is a filler approved for one area approved for others?

No. Approval is product by product and area by area. Using a filler in an area that is not on its label is off-label use, which this guide does not cover. Keep your marketing within the approved indications.

Want your company considered?
