About this comparison

Published by Prospyr. Jane App product information reviewed October 2026; decision notes reviewed October 2026. Verdicts describe the workflows named in each row, rather than every capability of either platform. Software, usage, and partner fees vary.

Jane's insurance billing add-on is a genuine strength for practices that bill payers.

Jane App suits multidisciplinary health and wellness practices, such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage, or mental health practices that also offer aesthetic services, and practices that bill insurance. Prospyr fits practices built around injectables and aesthetic treatments.

Why one system

Drag the divider. Same work, one system.

Most practices run booking, charting, checkout, and marketing in separate tools and type the same patient into each one. In Prospyr the chart, the calendar, and the payment are the same piece of software, so a change in one place is a change everywhere.

“We've seen a 50% increase in revenue and a 40% increase in appointments booked since switching away from using several different point solutions to running our practice on Prospyr.”

Jane App vs. Prospyr: your questions

Does Jane App handle insurance billing, and does Prospyr?

Yes, Jane does. As of October 11, 2026, it sells US insurance billing as an add-on to its Practice and Thrive plans, with claims, eligibility checks, and ERAs through a separate Claim.MD account. Insurance billing is on Prospyr's roadmap but is not available today, so a practice that bills payers should keep that in mind. If your practice is mainly self-pay aesthetics, compare the aesthetic workflows instead.

Does Jane App have a face chart and e-prescribing?

Jane's own guide says Jane does not have a built-in face chart; practices add a face image to a body chart and mark injection points and units. Jane records prescriptions as chart entries and lists US e-prescriptions as a feature still being built. Prospyr includes aesthetics-specific charting with image markup and e-prescribing tied to the chart.

How does Jane App pricing compare with Prospyr?

As of October 11, 2026, Jane publishes USD plans: Balance $59/month, Practice $79/month, and Thrive $99/month, with additional full-time providers at $35 or $40 a month depending on plan. Packages and memberships are on Thrive. AI Scribe is $15/month per provider, and insurance billing is $20/month plus per-provider fees. Prospyr provides a practice-specific quote with onboarding and training included.

How do I migrate from Jane App to Prospyr?

Prospyr handles migration and includes onboarding and training. We review your Jane App export, agree which records and history can transfer, and validate the import with you before go-live. We identify exceptions before you commit.

Does Prospyr handle insurance billing?

Insurance billing is on Prospyr's roadmap but is not available today. Prospyr supports your aesthetic practice's clinical and business workflows now. If you bill payers, keep a separate claims solution in place and discuss your requirements with our team before switching.
